BBQ Pulled Chicken-LovelyBabyBites

Yep, we are talking a healthy version of BBQ with chicken. I promise the men in your life won't even notice because it's BBQ...This little bite is perfect for your next party.

BBQ Pulled Chicken

in a pot add

3 garlic cloves

1 Tbs brown sugar

2 Tbs. dijon mustard

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 1/2C. apple vinegar cider

4 c. water

1/2 c. steak-sauce

add 6 boneless chicken breast

boil for 30 mins

drain and reserve 1 c. of liquid

pull apart chicken add back to the pot

add 1/2c. BBQ sauce

simmer for 10 mins

Apple Radicchio Salad

1/2 c. sliced radicchio

2 tbs. mayo

salt / pepper

Toast buns / add chicken / add salad

How to make French Toast

Good Morning! I'm Hungry. I know I'll whip up some french toast. This French toast is so easy and is perfect with stale bread or whatever bread you have lying around.

French Toast

2 eggs

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

add the 4 ingredients

soak slices of bread in mixture

place 1 tbs butter in sauté pan

add bread for 2 mins on medium heat

flip 2 mins

SERVE w/ syrup, powder sugar

How to make Black Forest Cake * Baking with my SUB's

Hello, and welcome to a great interactive way to bake with me in the kitchen with my SUBSCRIBERS!! They sent in there videos and we made Black Forest Cake together. What a sweet, tart, and full of love in your mouth type of cake. Its secret is Kirschwasser, meaning in German, a cherry flavored liquor. You don't have to use liquor I just used simple syrup. This cherry flavor cake is the perfect cake for summer.

Black Forest Cake

12 Tbs soft butter

3/4 c. sugar

3/4 tsp vanilla

1/3 tsp. almond

beat untill fluffy

add 9 egg yolks (Save whites) one @ a time

set off to the side

SIFT:

1 c. flour (or cake flour)

3 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

set off to the side

WHISK:

9 egg whites till foamy

add 1/4 c. sugar

whisk till hard peek stage

Fold: whites to butter and egg mixture

Fold: dry ingredients into mixture

Fold in

9 oz. grated simi sweet chocolate (or simi choc chips)

Bake @ 325 for 25-35

after layers have cooled

sprinkly Kirschwasser on cake layers (or simple syrup)

layer cake with whipped cream

1 c. whipping cream

1/4 c sugar

whisk up

then add cherries

Orzo Salad

Quick, it's spring, it's summer, and I need a easy yummy salad for my picnic. Well, have no fear this light, flavor explosion, healthy salad is here to save the day..Orzo, is a pasta it comes from the word rison which mean big rice. This roasted grain is great for a light greek salad used with feta cheese, tomatoes, and greek olives. Or just do what I did and used what ever I had in my fridge..

Orzo Salad

1 c. Orzo

boil till tender

in a bowl add

diced tomatoes 1/2 c.

diced cucumber 1/2 c.

diced greek olives 1/4 c.

or anything else you like like avocado...

1/2 c. feta cheese

salt

pepper

3 tbs. olive oil

toss and serve

How to make Sponge Cake

Sponge cake is know to have an egg and flour base, hints spongy. Here I show you "how to "make it and add a twist on it by making it a rainbow cake. Now you can make any vanilla based recipe a rainbow cake. Just take the batter, divide it into how ever many colors you want. Then dye the vanilla batter. Bake each color in a pan then layer it up with buttercream or your choice of filling and you have a rainbow cake...

Sponge Cake

1 cup milk

simmer then place to the side to cool

in a bowl

sift 2 c. AP flour

2 tsp. baking powder

another bowl

crack 4 eggs (room temp)

2 C. sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

then take milk that is warm and temper it into the egg mixture very slowly so the eggs won't cook and can adjust to the warm liquid

then beat in the flour

Bake @ 350 for 45 mins.

This week I made one of the most light calorie sweet, and making it for you to enjoy. Its like a cookie, it looks like a mushroom, but packed with flavor and only 47 calories. I love this sweet treat. I even had it served as the dessert at my wedding rehearsal dinner. Enjoy...

Meringue Kisses

3 egg whites

1/8 tsp salt

whisk on medium speed for 1-2 mins until frothy

add

1/3 cup sugar, BUT in three parts whisk for 2 mins with each addition

then add

1/2 cup powder sugar

1/8 extract of your choice (Vanilla, almond, peppermint, mint)

then whisk for 1 more min

the add a color if desired then pip or place on parchment with a spoon

Bake @ 200 for 2 1/2 hours

then let cool for 1 hour or over night
