Fig Bars
CRUST:
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c butter
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 c. flour
blend together to form a crust
place crust on a cookie sheet and
Bake @ 350 for 10-15 mins
Fig Filling
16 oz. figs pulsed
in a pot add
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 lemon juice and rind
place over medium heat till all liquid is absorbed
place over crust
Crumble
1/4 c. flour
1/4c. brown sugar
3 tbs. cold butter
1/4 c. oats
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
pulse
place over figs
and bake @ 250 for 15-20 mins
