Season Finale: How to make Gingerbread Cookies

You guys have made it very possible for me to keep making fun baking videos every Saturday since February. I thank you so much for your love and support. This is my Season Finale. But don't worry, I will be back in February 2012 which will give me time to stock pile more HOW TO's for the new year. Please keep leaving me comments of tasty treats you might wanna know how to make and I will hopefully be getting around to making them... Welcome to the holidays! What is the one sweet treat that makes it feel like the holidays? Yes, family. They are sweet, but I'm talking about making Gingerbread Cookies. You can make these tasty treats for not only your little ones, family members, and neighbors, but you can leave them by the fire place for Santa. And cross your fingers that he thinks you were a good boy or girl this year. SO, come learn, interact, and eat with me in this episode of Gingerbread cookies...

Gingerbread Cookies
YEILDS: 6 dozen

SIFT in a bowl
6 C. flour
1 TBS. baking powder
1 TBS ground ginger
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Then with a hand mixer or kitchen aid
1 C. butter room temp
1 C. Brown sugar
1 C. molasses
1 tsp. vanilla
then pour in dry ingredients slowly
if the mixture is looking think
1/2 c cold water slowly till it is looking like a dough
form dough into round flat spheres and wrap up and place in fridge for 2 hours.
unwrap and roll out cookies
bake @ 350 for 10-12 mins
