How to make Candy Apples

 Candy Apples are just the thing to get you in the mood for fall.  Sure one put Snow White into a deep sleep, but these cute and yummy treats are not just to eat, but so pretty they could be used as decoration on your kitchen table.  Also, don't forget to dip them in chocolate, caramel, or even your favorite nut or candy bar.

Candy Apples
4 granny smith apples
in a pot add
1/2 c. water
1 c. corn syrup
2 c. sugar
stir
put over a medium flame and bring sugar up to 250 degree called the Hard Ball stage
take off and then add 1/2 c. cinnamon candies
back on the heat till it reaches 285 degrees
stir
and dip apples in the sugar being very carful
place on wax paper to dry
