How to make Black Forest Cake * Baking with my SUB's

Hello, and welcome to a great interactive way to bake with me in the kitchen with my SUBSCRIBERS!! They sent in there videos and we made Black Forest Cake together. What a sweet, tart, and full of love in your mouth type of cake. Its secret is Kirschwasser, meaning in German, a cherry flavored liquor. You don't have to use liquor I just used simple syrup. This cherry flavor cake is the perfect cake for summer.

Black Forest Cake

12 Tbs soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/3 tsp. almond
beat untill fluffy
add 9 egg yolks (Save whites) one @ a time
set off to the side
1 c. flour (or cake flour)
3 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
set off to the side
9 egg whites till foamy
add 1/4 c. sugar
whisk till hard peek stage
Fold: whites to butter and egg mixture
Fold: dry ingredients into mixture
Fold in
9 oz. grated simi sweet chocolate (or simi choc chips)
Bake @ 325 for 25-35

after layers have cooled
sprinkly Kirschwasser on cake layers (or simple syrup)
layer cake with whipped cream
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c sugar
whisk up
then add cherries
